Like we said before we are not a typical design agency to build products for clients that they are paying for us. Within the reversed viewpoint, we believe our creativities become our clients which means that we are working for ourselves. We have ideas, we have technology to build and we have resources to sustain ourselves. Why do need to set a marketing budget to find paying customers for us? That is such a wasted time. About 14-15 years ago, I had a chance to visit one of the creative software company in Chicago, which is called "37signals". They are operated in semi remote manner and get small investments from external sources and make small but enough revenue for their business operation and make them profitable to sustain themselves. That company is small but big. Currently...as far as I know...they are working on two main projects, which are Basecamp as a product management tool as a Saas product, and Hey as the future of email products. I was fully inspired by these people and their company direction. It was quite interesting to me at that time. Creating products from our inner creativities and motivation is quite fascinating to me. If you have the motivation to solve certain problems using your curiosities and creativities will be unbelievable assets for our company that we can own and build with them. This is the reason we announce ourselves "We are not a typical design agency for external projects. That would be our side project if their idea inspires us and makes us excited with their ideas" We work for our own creativities and inner self-motivations and satisfactions to solve problem that we are interested in by using design and technology. This is the single core mission we have.
